POST 1: A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

 HELLO FRIENDS!

I would like to visit Turkey to find out all the places where successful films and TV series have been made. In addition, I would love to meet the Turkish actors who are so talented and delight in their performances. It seems like a dream, maybe one day it will come true haha.

This country catches my eye not only for its actors and TV series, but also for its customs and traditions, there are some that I really like as when they take off their shoes when they enter a house and drink tea and coffee whenever and wherever, that's great.

I find their dances very interesting, especially the one they perform when a wedding is held, where they sing, dance and celebrate.

The main mosques I would like to meet are: the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Suleiman Mosque. Turkey is a country where more than 90% are Muslims, but they are wide open-minded.

Blue Mosque

It is one of Istanbul's most famous and visited mosques. It was built by Sultan Ahmed between 1609 and 1616. The Blue Mosque is open to the public and as in all will be dressed appropriately, men in long trousers and women covering themselves completely.

Hagia Sophia

It was built between 532 and 537, during Justinian's tenure, and is one of the best works in the world of Byzantine art. Its dome is larger than that of the Blue Mosque. In 1453 it was taken over by the Ottoman Empire and was converted into a mosque.

Suleiman Mosque

It is the largest in Istanbul and being located on one of its hills is easily recognizable from much of the city. It was built between 1550 and 1558 on behalf of Sultan Suleiman I The Magnificent.

I could not leave out the gastronomy of Turkey which combines elements of Middle Eastern cuisine with elements of Mediterranean cuisine. It highlights the predominance of the use of olive oil and vegetables in most of its dishes. I'd like to taste the kebabs and the dolmas.

The only bad thing you have to have enough money to go to Turkey and be relatively well :(
